DAIKEN SCHOLARSHIP

Since its establishment in year 2007, the DAIKEN Scholarship Fund has provided financial contribution for the purpose of granting scholarship to qualified eligible student(s) for tertiary education and any other training useful to the timber trade and industry in Sarawak. DAIKEN entrusted Sarawak Timber Association (STA) to assist in identifying, selecting and deciding suitable and eligible students to be offered the DAIKEN Scholarship Fund in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Our future for Sustainable Environment

Preserving the environment with sustainable development is essential by balancing our economic growth together with the protection of environmental quality and social stability. We manage environment in a sustainable manner by implementing Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001: 2015. In maintaining the earth ecosystem, we put our efforts in setting up facilities such as waste water treatment plant, air pollution control equipment, waste management infrastructure, laboratory, on-line instrumentation system, and others performance monitoring equipment. Committed in preserving stable environment, an Environmental committee and a team of certified competent persons was established and playing their role in an effective manner to comply with environmental requirements, policies and regulations.
